White Christmas Living Room
Welcome to my bright white Christmas living room tour! I am so happy that you decided to visit today. I'm grateful for each of you. You are the reason I style each room and publish each post. This tour is for you and I hope you find Christmas decorating inspiration here today.
The second I open the first Christmas box each year, I start dreaming about Christmas morning. I am thinking of everyone who will be here, the gifts I will be giving, what we will eat, the memories we will build and share.
I also think of you. How will you decorate your home? What colors will you use? Do you enjoy the process?
This year, I will be using white, ivory, champagne, and a bit of blue. The blue will be appearing soon, but not just yet.
Today, I'll be sharing my Christmas living room. Let's get started!

Our main tree has a new spot in our living room.
This is the gorgeous flocked tree that was placed at the end of my entry hall last year. I am still completely in love with it and wanted to try placing it in our living room so we could enjoy it even more.
Many of the ornaments were used on this tree or on my dining room tree last year. It is always smart to purchase ornaments that can be used in more than one space.
With its lights turned on, it is simply magical. If you are in the market for an artificial tree, I highly recommend purchasing a pre-lit one.
Soon, I'll be sharing a post with tips to help you recreate this tree. Until then, you can visit my Instagram Story highlights for a step by step video tutorial. Steps for decorating another tree can be found here.
Also, you can find many of my ornaments here.
My mantel is another focal point and I always want it to look special.
This year, I wanted to do something completely different on my mantel than I did last year. The moment I saw this white floral garland, I knew I wanted to incorporate it in my design. By itself it is gorgeous, but I felt that combining it with this gold magnolia leaf garland elevated it even more. I added more of the same magnolia garland to my mirror and included a wreath at the top. Lastly, I placed mercury glass trees and slender candlesticks tied with ribbon on the mantel.
To recreate the look, use one magnolia garland for each floral garland you use. Twist them together, turning the flowers and the leaves until they are facing forward.
SHOP GLASS TREES
SHOP CANDLESTICKS
A glass bowl filled with ornaments, a couple of bottle brush trees and a beautiful specialty ornament combine with non-holiday decorative items on my coffee table.
In the winter, I love to fill my living room with pillows. Try adding a few new holiday pillows to your Christmas home. Trade the inserts for softer ones if needed.
SHOP PILLOWS
These snowy magnolias fill planters for a subtle holiday look.
Tiny mercury glass ornaments attached with ribbons elevate the look of this tinsel tree.
One last corner…these fabulous large paper poinsettias fill it perfectly. They would also make a beautiful and unique centerpiece.
I have loved every second of decorating for this holiday season and can't wait to share more spaces with you! Check back often or subscribe to Decor Gold Designs here!
